The Rider Waite Tarot Card Deck

The Rider Waite Tarot Card Deck

One of my favorite wiccan sites www.spells8.com has done really awesome page on The Rider Waite Tarot Deck. What I love most about the Rider Waite deck is how universal the deck really is.

The Rider Waite Tarot Deck was created in 1909 by a man named Arthur Edward Waite. He was the founder of the Fellowship of the Rosy Cross. The illustrations were drawn by illustrator Pamela Colman Smith.

The good news about this particular deck is it has been in the public domain since 1966, which means it can be replicated without fear of legal repercussions. What this means for you, is not only can you go out and buy yourself some photo printer paper and print out your own decks as you see fit; you can also print out the cards freely for spell work instead of worrying about purchasing cards.

Below I included links to printable sheets for the Deck, a mini deck as well as card means. I also included a link to a deck that is sold for beginners that you may appreciate. The printables are courtesy of www.spells8.com
